A. Yes, you can customise your clean in two different modes: vacuum-only or vacuum and mop. You can also choose from 4 levels of suction power and 3 options for mopping water levels. Please Note: When water is in the robot’s bin, and the mopping pad is attached, the Roomba Combo® 2 Essential robot will always vacuum and mop simultaneously. For a vacuum-only mission, simply remove the mop plate and empty the water from the bin.

A. Yes, the mop pad is washable. It should be cleaned after each job in cold, warm, or hot water by hand. The pad should be replaced after 30 washes for best performance. 

A. When using the Roomba Combo® 2 Essential robot with the mopping pad attached and water in the bin, carpets should be rolled up or removed from the room to keep them clean and dry—or only clean rooms without rugs or carpets.

A. No, the Roomba Combo® 2 Essential robot is not able to map and clean specific rooms or areas in your home. It will go out on a cleaning mission and then show a Clean Map® Report after each cleaning session, so you know where it has cleaned. For more advanced mapping functionality, please see the Roomba® i- and j-series robots.

A. No, the AutoEmpty™ dock is only compatible with the Roomba Combo® 2 Essential robot.
